Metrycom Communication Ltd., a leading T&D Grid Monitoring Company participated in the the 2015 edition of the Distributech Conference and Exhibition in San Diego from February 3rd to 5th 2015.
During the exhibition, Metrycom showcased its latest products and solutions, which are now deployed in several key markets. The MetrySense family of remote T&D monitoring solutions have undergone further development during the past 12 months and successfully empower utilities companies with a wide range of remote monitoring sensors and a powerful analytics and visualization platform designed to enhance operations while lowering overall costs.
In addition to their advanced monitoring capabilities, MetrySense solutions are low-cost and integrate seamlessly existing infrastructures, thus allowing for the rapid offsetting of capital expenditure.
Metrycom’s engineers have tirelessly worked to develop a modular T&D monitoring system that has elevated the comprehensive MetrySense family of products and solutions into a class of its own with currently little or no competition in the sector.
Since 2008, Metrycom has been developing and deploying ultra-low power wireless sensor solutions for large area applications. The company enables power utilities to gain better visibility on their transmission and distribution lines, which suffer from isolator strings contamination and faults, typically in remote locations.
Our objective is to further develop our global client base and we are pleased to be able to participate in one of the world’s leading T&D event.
DistribuTECH is the largest U.S. event that covers the utility industry from end-to-end with 10,000 attendees and more than 480 exhibitors. In past years, San Diego has delivered the event’s highest-ever attendance numbers and the 2015 event is forecast to be no exception.
Since 2008, Metrycom has been providing rapidly deployed ultra-low power consumption wireless sensor solutions for large area applications. We enable power utilities to gain better visibility on their transmission and distribution lines, which suffer from isolator strings contamination and faults, typically in remote locations. In 2010 Metrycom teamed up with IEC to utilize the experience and knowledge of both companies for the development of an inexpensive and practical solutions which resulted in a complete sensing and radio solution for high voltage lines that could be deployed live in on transmission lines.
Metrycom’s proprietary sensor solutions are now deployed by power utilities worldwide for fault locating on long distance transmission and distribution lines, especially in remote rural areas. Through its sensor and data analysis technologies, Metrycom leads high voltage line monitoring and Smart T&D Grids sectors.
